Shea was chosen to monitor this week and found a box with four bluebird hatchlings and one egg. The chicks are estimated to be zero-two days old, probably zero since on egg is still to hatch. There are also bluebird eggs at boxes one, two, four and eight.

    Note to This Week's Monitor

    Monitorer for August 23-25:

There is some activity in the boxes at this time, with some important directions so please read carefully.  Please bring rubber gloves and a dust mask as you may need to clean out  empty nest boxes.

Do Not Open Box #2 As Chicks Are Close to Fledging.

    Monitor Boxes #1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 as usual.

    Enjoy your monitoring experience!
